Why is there still such an economic chasm between whites and people of color?
Barbara Robes, co-author of The Color of Wealth, will gave a presentation on the roots of the racial wealth divide and her newly published book. This will be a great opportunity to meet the author and engage in a thought-provoking discussion about the causes of and solutions to the racial wealth divide in the United States.
Barbara Robles teaches community economics at Arizona State University. She has a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland at College Parc, and taught Latino public policy at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin. She is also a board member of United for a Fair Economy.
